The Commercial Egg Producers Association of WA Inc represents WA egg producers and has been affiliated with WAFarmers since 1995, using their position to advocate for members at State Government level.

After about 10 years farming on my own, I was searching for a way to gain knowledge about farming, outside family members, but found it difficult to talk ‘farming’ with other farmers in the area. As my father had been a member of WAFarmers for a long time, I decided to go to a few meetings and see how it went. It wasn’t long before I was ‘roped in’ and representing the zone. Being a WAFarmers member means I have access to information and networks that allow me to keep up to date on agricultural issues, the ability to have input into these issues and have my concerns voiced to the people in the right places.
