Main Roads WA reminder

WAFarmers would like to remind its members about the purpose of the bay located alongside Roe Highway northbound at Midvale, just past Great Eastern Highway. The bay was constructed in order to enable oversize loads to turn around under supervision and travel south to Great Eastern Highway. It is not intended for use as a general truck bay or for parking, trailer exchanges, meal breaks etc.  Parking controls are signposted at the bay.    Main

New technologies examined to combat crop pests – DAFWA

Microwaves and a mapping technology are being explored by the Department of Agriculture and Food to control weeds and pests in Western Australian grain crops. The Department of Agriculture and Food (DAFWA) will help sheep producers who attend Wagin Woolorama ensure their stock movements are recorded correctly.
