WA farm debt mediation scheme

The State Government recently announced that it has established a scheme to assist farm and pastoral businesses to settle disputes with their finance providers. Access to the scheme can be initiated by either the farm or pastoral business or the financial institution, and although not mandatory, all parties are encouraged to participate.  The Farm Debt Mediation Scheme will be administered by the Rural Business Development Corporation at the Department of Agriculture and Food, with mediation
