$50 million over 5 years available to farmers

Coles has announced that it will allocate $50 million over five years in grants and interest-free loans to farmers who are keen to improve on-farm efficiency and develop new products.

The Coles Nurture Fund will be open to small and medium sized farm businesses, food producers and manufacturers.

The grants and loans are available to help small entrepreneurs and innovative businesses to deliver better products to customers and improve how they get that product to market.

WA Farmers believes this is an excellent support mechanism to assist in lifting productivity and competitiveness in the agricultural sector. Our organisation would like to actively pursue this opportunity for a member. If members can nominate persons who would be interested in this opportunity, WA Farmers will work with the person/s to complete the application process.

To be eligible for consideration for the initial allocation of grants or interest free loans from the CNF, Coles must receive from eligible Australian entities a fully completed CNF application form with mandatory attachments by 5.00pm AEST on Friday 12 June 2015.  Please make your interest known to us as soon as possible so we can begin working with you on an application to meet this deadline. Contact [email protected] or call the office on (08) 9486 2100.
