The Grain Industry Association of Western Australia (GIWA) has coordinated the development of the WA Grains Industry Strategy 2025+ on behalf of the whole Western Australian grains industry.
The strategy has been extensively workshopped and is available for industry review. Organisations, companies and individuals in the grains industry are invited to comment on the draft reports.
The draft strategy, which contains 8 suggested strategy actions for the WA Grains Industry to help it double in value over the coming decade, is available here. A companion document that outlines commodity specific strategies (e.g. for wheat, barley, oats, pulses and oilseeds) is available here.
Closing date for comments is January 30, 2015.
