Members are reminded that ownership, storage and usage of firearms is strictly controlled and we are sending a reminder to ensure any firearms owned by members are licensed and stored in an approved gun safe that is locked.
We have heard that police are currently undertaking random audits in at least one rural police district ensuring that farmers are in full compliance of all firearms legislation and procedures.
