The future looks bright for ag

Members of AgConnectWA, a group for young people who are passionate about agriculture, recently elected a President and Vice President at the annual conference #GenerationAg.

Kallum Blake of Katanning was re-elected to the position of President, with Katie Pole, from Larrawa Station, elected as Vice President.

Mr Blake thanked the AgConnectWA committee for their continued hard work on behalf of the group.

“We have an incredible mix of people on the committee who share an interest in agriculture and a willingness to connect young people in the industry,” Mr Blake said.

Vice President Katie Pole thanked members for their support and encouraged others to get involved.

“Whether you’re studying it, working in the industry or just want the opportunity to meet young, passionate people, if you’re interested in agriculture, AgConnectWA is for you” Miss Pole said.

AgConnectWA hosts a range of social and education events each year for its members with a focus on connecting, representing and supporting young people throughout the agricultural industry.
