The Horizon Scholarship has been developed to support the next generation of agricultural leaders who will take up the challenge of farming for the future. It is for young people who are passionate about agriculture with a keen interest in the future of primary industries and who are ready to expand their networks and learn new skills.
The Horizon Scholarship is an initiative of the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation which supports undergraduates studying agriculture at university in partnership with industry sponsors.
The scholarship includes a $5,000 bursary per year for the duration of their degree, professional development workshops, annual industry work placements and opportunities to network at industry events.
