Living in Western Australia means getting to explore one of the most diverse, beautiful places in the world.

This includes the wide open spaces and small farming communities that we seem to take for granted in the hustle and bustle. Each of these communities, these farms, and the people who make them offer a unique beauty and experience that is unmatched in other places.

WAFarmers wants you to help capture Western Australia’s unique and beautiful farming country with the inaugural Positive Ag photo competition.

Taking place via social media, we want you to upload your photos from farm country. Whether you stop to take a photo of the lambs in the South West, a day at your local ag show, or a farmer seeding in the wheatbelt, we want you to share these memories with WAFarmers and our supporters.

This is a chance for you to not only get out and capture these fantastic places, but to go into the running for a prize pool of over $3000.

How it Works

It’s Easy!

Entry is free!
On Instagram tag #PositiveAg and @wafarmersfed and on Facebook tag #PositiveAg and @WAFarmers in a photo you have taken showcasing agriculture here in West Australia.
Photos can be anything to do with agriculture! Cows, sheep, canola season, farmers working, experiences at an ag show in the country. There is so much to see and capture here in W.A. (we’ve even put together a calendar of events for inspiration).
Open entry for ages 13+ (age it is to open an insta account).
Must be a resident of Australia.
Must be photos of agriculture in Western Australia (geo-tagging will be essential).
Entries close 12th of December 2019.
WAFarmers will be showcasing our favourite photos every week via our social media channels (offer weekly prize?).

Conditions of entry

Make sure you read the Rules!

All photos must be centered around agriculture in WA
We will not tolerate any photos that depict violence, harassment, or that may cause offense. Any photos that do will be flagged for removal.
You can submit more than one photo, but no duplicates.
Individual and group entries are accepted. Prize winners in groups will split the overall prize in that category.
Must be 13-age to submit to be eligible.
All photos will be screened and judged by the WAFarmers committee.
Once approved, WAFarmers reserves the right to use photos across our channels for promotional purposes.
Winners will be announced at the WAFarmers end of year celebration. Date TBC .
We will not share your email address or personal information with third parties.

Copyright Infrigement: Please ensure that all photos submitted are by you the artist / photographer. Any photos found to infringe on copyright will be disqualified and removed form the competition.
