The Western Australian Farmers Federation (Inc.) (WAFarmers) is proud to announce a new partnership agreement with Solargain.

Solargain is the largest WA-based supplier and installer of solar energy systems and over the last five years has earned a reputation as one of the most trusted retailers within the industry.

WAFarmers President, Dale Park, said the cost of power was an essential and ever increasing burden and Solargain would be in a position to assist farmers to reduce their costs.

“The cost price squeeze is something which farm businesses have been grappling with for a number of years and electricity is a key input for the majority of farmers,” Mr Park said.

“Solargain has a product which could help businesses to reduce their costs and that is something which all farmers need to consider in the current climate of high costs and tight budgets.”

Solargain Commercial Renewable Energy Consultant, Keith Lynch, who is looking after the WAFarmers relationship, said Solargain was proud to be involved with one of Australia’s premier agricultural representative bodies, WAFarmers.

“We are very excited about this partnership and are committed to working with WAFarmers members to achieve lower electricity costs for them,” Mr Lynch said.

“One of the benefits of this relationship is that we get the opportunity to attend WAFarmers Zone Meetings and talk to the members face-to-face. Many of our competitors try to do business over the phone but you can only really assist clients with systems of this size in person.”

Mr Lynch comes from a farming heritage and understands the needs of those in the agricultural sector better than most in the solar industry.

“With formal qualifications in renewable energy, an understanding of agriculture and being backed by WA’s largest solar energy specialists, I feel well equipped to assist WAFarmers members,” Mr Lynch concluded.
