Students available for ag traineeships

Rural Skills Australia, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Western Australian Colleges of Agriculture are providing opportunities to link potential employers and year 12 students at Agricultural Colleges. They are seeking expressions of interest from employers interested in recruiting a school leaver. They will provide a link to bring employers and year 12 students together and will provide advice on rural traineeships.

If you are interested in offering part/full time employment to a school leaver please submit your details. You will have the opportunity to select and recruit an employee from a pool of graduating year 12 students with nationally recognised vocational qualifications in agriculture and related areas. The aim is to provide students with traineeship opportunities. However some students may be interested in employment without a traineeship.

An Employment Matching Event is being held at Narrogin Agricultural College on Wednesday 29 July 2015, 10am to 12pm, followed by lunch.

WAFarmers members are invited to come and meet year 12 students from the six Western Australian Colleges of Agriculture who are looking for work/traineeships. Alternatively you can put in an expression of interest for a more suitable location. Please click here for an attachment with further information including registration details.
