Tell us about your on-farm machinery!

The agricultural industry has been discussing Agricultural Pilots since Main Roads announced the exemption within the Western Australian Gazette on November 28.

The six metre limit in width has created angst within the agricultural community, as many of the seeding bars currently operating across WA do not fit within the parameters of the exemption. The current system leads to confusion about the processes required to legally move any machinery above six metres.

WAFarmers wishes to collate information through a very brief survey about what machinery is currently on-farm, predominantly seeders, and will work to clarify and simplify this process using your feedback.

We encourage you to share this survey with your networks to help provide a bigger picture of the issue. WAFarmers plans to use this information in our meetings and correspondence with industry and politicians. Please share your thoughts so that we can provide a comprehensive picture of on-farm machinery.

Feedback is due to WAFarmers by 11.59pm, Sunday 1 April 2018.
