On Friday May 2, Western Dairy will hold the 15th annual Dairy Innovation Day at Rob Giura and Families dairy farm, Keysbrook. The theme this year is Innovation in Technology showcasing robotic milking machines.
WAFarmers Membership Officer Jess Morris, Dairy Executive Officer Stephanie Tarlinton and dairy councillors will be attending the event and look forward to catching up with members and talking to farmers about the work the organisation and dairy council has been focused on.
Dairy farmers attending Dairy Innovation Day will hear from Catherine Marriott on her recommendations for the WA dairy industry on getting closer to our consumers by proving our integrity. Warrick Tyrrell will discuss the topic of animal welfare and a joint Dairy Council/Western Dairy project working in this space.
