WAFarmers congratulates Immediate Past President Dale Park for his appointment on the new Agriculture Consultative Committee.
The Committee, which will be chaired by ACCC Agriculture Commissioner Mick Keogh, will provide a national forum for the discussion of competition and fair trade concerns within the agricultural sector.
Mr Park will represent WAFarmers, and will be one of 24 Committee representatives from a wide range of industry groups.
Committee members will provide input on:
- issues and processes affecting the agriculture sector that fall within the scope of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010;
- emerging issues or market developments of concern to the agriculture sector; and,
- improving communication with the agriculture sector.
