The Vasse Zone and WAFarmers Dairy Council have this week provided submissions into the Independent Review of the Current and Future Management of Water Assets in the Geographe Catchment, WA Discussion Document. The review is being conducted by Professor Barry Hart who has been engaged by the Western Australian Department of Water to undertake the review which is required to focus on governance structures and management priorities in three areas: Management of the Vasse-Wonnerup Ramsar

The WAFarmers Dairy Council will be represented at the upcoming Australian Dairy Conference to be held in Geelong Victoria next week. Dairy Executive Officer Stephanie Tarlinton will be attending the conference and pre-conference tour of the Victorian western districts as the recipient of the Western Dairy bursary. The conference theme this year is ‘Celebrating Dairy with bigger thinking and future planning’ and will hear from speakers from the US, NZ, Europe and Australia covering topics
