The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) is offering a free Introduction to Mentoring course. Menotring is an essential aspect of staff engagement and retention.
Participants of the free Introduction to Mentoring course will be able to:
Understand what is mentoring
Differentiate between mentoring and coaching
Clarify the role of the mentor
Understand the role of the mentee
Explain what a mentor can expect to get out of the relationship
Determine how to manage mentee expectations and enhance their experience
Understand what additional support is available to assist in supporting trainees or apprentices
This course is designed for all staff members who support apprentices or trainees in the workplace. It is also suitable for any employee who provides direct or indirect guidance to another staff member.
Duration of course: 9:00am – 12:00pm (8.45am registration)
