Future CRC Funding Needed

WAFarmers has written to appropriate State and Federal Ministers urging them to continue funding Co-operative Research Centres (CRCs) such as the Sheep CRC indefinitely. Historically, the Federal government provides funding for industries to undertake research within industries. Currently, the CRC’s have a limited life span.  WAFarmers believes that if a CRC is performing well against its Key Performing Indicators then it should continue to be funded and provide benefits to industry.
