Growers reminded to register sensitive sites online – DAFWA

Western Australian growers with sensitive production systems are reminded to register their property with the Sensitive Sites service. The Department of Agriculture and Food provides the free service to help accurately report on the location of known sensitive agricultural production systems. A sensitive site is a commercial property that needs special consideration due to the nature of the production system. Grain pest webinar offers 2014 snapshot and glimpse of year ahead – DAFWA

Feedback sought on DAFWA’s interactive online map of research trials

Feedback is sought from grain growers in the northern Wheatbelt on an interactive pilot map which highlights and reports on Department of Agriculture and Food field research conducted in 2014. Development officer Andrew Blake said the pilot map was developed to provide a centralised site which included details about grains-related research, development and extension activities conducted by the department.
