Disappointment at Honey Decision
WAFarmers has written to the Minister for Agriculture and Food Ken Baston urging him not to approve an application to allow the importation of untreated honey from interstate and overseas into WA for packaging and export. There is fear within the industry that importing untreated honey may compromise the biosecurity of WA’s beekeeping industry.
